Are your friends fun?

Happy Monday everyone.  I just love Mondays, and it drives some people crazy in my life...they just dont get it.  Thats ok:)  I get so excited about the start of a new week that the inspiration just explodes and the potential for another rockin week makes me smile...I want to share a fun photo with you today...it is a digital page from my Cancun trip in February!  This time spent with friends was so much FUN!

Today I have to ask, do you have FUN with your friends?  I mean do you really love being together?   Lately, I was listening to some training and wondered why everyone does not enjoy the home party circuit and have come to learn through chatting with friends that some parties are just not fun.   There are some that contain nothing but drama over one friends constant need for attention.  Others just cant let loose and enjoy the moment or the idea of trying something new.  Still more are so worried that they will be talked into buying something that the attendance can be zero.

Well, I definitely hear you.  I hear that your concerns are valid and that sometimes it is true.  Not everyone loves to host home parties...and that is ok.  They are not turning down the direct seller personally, just the opportunity to host.  And who really misses out when that happens?

Now I turn to the parties that are FUN!  Are your friends fun?  For example, if they were asked to bring a fun photo to share at a party, would they? Would they share the stories behind the photos?  If not, maybe it is time to put finding fun friends on  your to do list:)    Really, those stories connect stories and mean more sharing.  Think about this...if you heard a great story from someone, wouldn't you tell it over and over?

Today, I invite you to take a good look at the people you party with.  And when I say party, I mean home party.  Many photo parties contain themes such as Margueritas and Memories!   Now that would be fun.  Think of who would be fun to hang out with and invite them to party!  We could all benefit from a little more time with our friends!

Got Time?

Last night I was lucky enough to attend the first party of a teammate.  Leanne did a GREAT job sharing Creative Memories, and everyone loved the digital scrapbooking software.  Imagine Erin, a sweet Mom of three that has a three month old baby.  Ethan is a BEAUTIFUL boy and with the changes daily in a young baby, taking lots of photos is so wonderful.  Erin said that she does not have a lot of photos of her sweet baby boy.  I grabbed my camera, took about 30 shots of his face.  SO many expressions in this little boy.

Just two minutes after starting this page, it was complete.  Erin loved it, and baby Ethan was the hit of the night!  Thanks for sharing your little guy with me.

Gathering with friends

I think that everyone should have a good girls weekend now and again...and I am blessed to have many of them during the year.  This one is very special to me, as it is a group of women that have been in my life for many years, and I adore them!!  Each year we gather in Monticello and create, chat, eat, sleep very little and just plain love being together.  Here are a few pics from last weekend put into a click and fill page from CM.

The best thing about click and fill?  the template is there, and all you do is click to add your digital papers to fill that space!  It should be called CLICK and fill:)  Learn more about them by clicking HERE.

Two minutes to a finished page

Planning is the key - point blank, if you don't have a plan you dont know how
to get to your destination.  Sometimes we have to check in with ourselves,  and
face the fact that success can be scary.  You can do it, and through planned
steps it will happen.  Start with two goals, one smaller and one great big
wonderful one...and then work at a pace you can realistically be committed to.

It is ok to adjust as you need to, just get started.

Today I am sharing a photo collection that I took this weekend.  I had been gifted with the families National Geographics for Christmas, so it was time to go and get them out of my parents home...at about a pound each, I carried them out 15-20 at a time.  First from the basement to the front door, and then from the front door to the car...down another full set of stairs.  Thank goodness they are all here in my home now, thanks to the help of my kids and hubby.  I love collections!!!

Storybook Creator predesigned pages made this page possible in just two minutes.  All I did was drag and drop the photos, and click to add text.  Storybook Creator is on sale now at a $20 savings...get it here and start sharing YOUR stories!
