Day Sixty Five

Waking up to the news of 2 degrees, was not a thrill in my house today.  First, the car was frozen shut.  Then while hopping over the seat from the back ( since the front doors were frozen) my poor hubby snapped the seat.  It was SO super cold that is just broke.  Finally, he figured out how to drive it in and the heat did not work.  The car is overheating and he will drag it to work with no heat.  He HATES the cold, and that is a kind way to put it:)  What can you do?  Will it define the entire day?  I hope not.

Think about it, and decide for youself what to do when things are tough.  There is one line that I use over and over again...is it worth it?  Its a great line, and figures into so many situations.  Are there little things that bug you about someone and you dont know if you should bring them up or not...well, is that person worth overlooking the little things that drive you crazy?  Probably, and now that  the decision has been made your focus can now shift to something else...I think its the anguish from holding onto those little things that is worse than what they are.  Once you let them go, it is a decision and that puts you more into control.  I like control:)

Well, the day started out hard, but we drove an extra car in so that he can move about today.  Its a good thing we had a spare vehicle, and that Maia was home to help.  I love  having older kids when it comes to stuff  like this.  She had a smile on her face, and that was a lot of help too.  The day can move more smoothly now, and I am grateful for that.
